Welcome to another episode of ADD TO CART. This is a show about the things we buy and buy into and what it says about who we are, who am I, I am Kulap Vilaysack.
SuChin Pak 01:47
That’s right. And I’m SuChin Pak. And today we have someone that we’ve been wanting to get on the show for so long since the beginning really, a great friend of the pod and my goodness, her cart so let’s just get into it.
Kulap Vilaysack 02:03
Wow, SuChin Pak listeners today we are joined by a radiant creative genius. Okay. Our guest is a writer, a performer, an actress she has co-created and starred in the Hot Wife series on Hulu. She’s also written for Black Monday just to name a few of her projects. She’s a reoccurring character there. If that wasn’t enough, she co-hosts the weekly podcast Bit Sesh with our dear friend Casey Rose Wilson please add to cart, Danielle Schneider.
Danielle Schneider 02:43
This is a true, I mean first of all like say the last time I saw SuChin, I saw you I was sitting in a […] swing. I’m not so hard.
SuChin Pak 02:52
That’s right and I was fully close to watching in a swing. Both of us confused by the image that was before us equally. I equally is confused. You confused by my nighttime pajama wear.
Danielle Schneider 03:08
SuChin Pak 03:11
I you guys have a chance to come to one of their, what is it, a performance?
Danielle Schneider 03:23
It’s performance art?
Kulap Vilaysack 03:26
Back in the day, pre-pandemic, Danielle got waxed.
Danielle Schneider 03:34
I had a bikini wax, on stage. And my butthole, if I remember correctly.
SuChin Pak 03:38
remember correctly, it wouldn’t be a bikini wax unless the chocolate kiss wasn’t taken care of.
Kulap Vilaysack 03:46
We just saw her face or expression of course everything was you know, covered.
Danielle Schneider 03:54
Look I’m not proud of it and yet I keep plugging along I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
SuChin Pak 04:03
Yeah, nothing at all. Yeah,
Danielle Schneider 04:05
I’m so happy to be here. I’m such a fan of this podcast and of YouTube as human beings so this is an honor.
Kulap Vilaysack 04:11
Oh, Danielle, thank you, we love to hear it.
SuChin Pak 04:14
You get so snugly into our cart, you know? Like you’ve never not been in the cart.
Kulap Vilaysack 04:22
Danielle, how do you add to cart, like what’s your shopping style?
Danielle Schneider 04:27
I mean all the time shopping non-stop. I need to fill a hole, guys.
SuChin Pak 04:34
Very familiar with that hole.
Danielle Schneider 04:36
Yeah, I need a I have a hole in my heart and stuff fits in it real cozily and I do enjoy shopping online like I also like to go to the shops I’m not gonna lie I’m I like to touch into feel new. The pandemic really you know, got me into online shopping and I love it and also when you have a child that you get into to like shopping for them to you know, like they need this right.
SuChin Pak 05:04
And that doesn’t count. You know, those are calories that, they don’t count.
Danielle Schneider 05:10
Yeah, thank you. Thank you. You know what I also like doing, which is a thrill is returning. Because it’s like making money. Don’t do the math.
SuChin Pak 05:26
Do the math. It makes sense. You make money.
Danielle Schneider 05:30
But it’s like, oh, I just earn money, even though you had spent it originally. You got it back. That’s, yeah, so it feels like found money even though you spend it. You found the money from you.
SuChin Pak 05:43
Yeah. But then when you get it back, it’s like, wow, it’s still it adds up. That’s now you’re in the block. Yeah.
Danielle Schneider 05:50
Yeah, you feel like you made money.
Kulap Vilaysack 05:52
Because the money was gone. The money has left. That’s right.
Danielle Schneider 05:55
Well, it’s back. So I like returning a lot like I truly enjoy spending and then I like returning stuff.
Kulap Vilaysack 06:04
I get that.
SuChin Pak 06:05
Danielle, these are, I have heart palpitations of love, as you say this, I mean, I have been known. And on this show I’ve shared I do I sometimes do a pre return.
Danielle Schneider 06:18
Well, what is that? What’s a pre-return?
SuChin Pak 06:20
Before it even arrives, I prep my return ticket. It’s ready to go.
Danielle Schneider 06:29
That would be thrilling.
SuChin Pak 06:32
Because the process of returning and getting is so chaotic and constant in my household. I gotta get on top of it. And then once I started on some places where you can do everything online, your return process, then your pre returning, right? And then when you get it you keep it great. It’s a gift. But then when it goes back, also a gift by the way, yeah, transition. There’s no question. It just oozes right out of my house. Into the ether for someone else to enjoy. The deep dive is in the product. I gotta get into the FAQ’s, you know the FAQ’s and the return policy before I hit add to cart.
Kulap Vilaysack 07:21
Yeah, because you know thyself.
SuChin Pak 07:23
And by the way free return doesn’t mean free return often.
Danielle Schneider 07:30
I got so mad the other day because I had to return something via DHL, well, I don’t know if you’ve got done that before.
SuChin Pak 07:42
Take pictures of it. You got to take mug shots of the item because they’re gonna have asked for receipts.
Danielle Schneider 07:52
Yes and when I tell you it was a rigamarole and because this was from across the seas you know this was to France it was something.
SuChin Pak 08:04
I have goosebumps right now I’m scared like I’m on the edge of my seat. I have to unbutton the top or two okay, go well, so.
Danielle Schneider 08:13
I had to go to return spot I’d never been to before like it was I felt like I mean it was only five seconds away. Guys, a shop notice just came in.
SuChin Pak 08:28
Mama’s going to Vegas, you guys. We’re hot. We’re overheated here.
Danielle Schneider 08:33
My road peptide glazing fluid was just arrived.
SuChin Pak 08:42
You look sensible. You look ready. Okay, so tell me. Did it return?
Danielle Schneider 08:49
So I had to go to a new place.
SuChin Pak 08:52
New staff, new parking, you know all your parking spots.
Danielle Schneider 08:57
Yes. Had to haul my cookies to lock in yada. Now, that’s not far that’s literally five minutes, but it felt a century away. And so I get there and they’re like, you have to like print something and I’m like, I didn’t know they didn’t say it. No, like you need to pay us $1, to print, like $1 and I was like, ah, furious.
SuChin Pak 09:24
Oh, the dollar print the dollar rising. You know, generally more mature ladies lose their shit.
Danielle Schneider 09:33
I honestly, this is a mature lady losing her shit.
SuChin Pak 09:36
And I want to be like honey, the internet’s moving too fast for this lady. Like you can’t charge her $1 for that she didn’t know she has to print her own labels.
Kulap Vilaysack 09:46
You know what that is guys. That’s an aging tac.
SuChin Pak 09:52
I was like this is, I really felt for her.
Danielle Schneider 09:56
That was me at this DHL. And so I had to like take pictures of labels and they kept asking me for things and I’m like look and I kept showing them the email from like this is you read this this can you read this because this is what it said for me to do and I did this can you read this I just kept shoving my phone in these poor people’s face.
SuChin Pak 09:58
May I even asked and we can cut this out like what is the return amount that you did this for?
Danielle Schneider 10:32
It was a lot, it was to $215 it was a purse from ALC you guys that I had gotten on a on the cheap, so you know the brand ALC are very fancy. But then they have it like bargains on this site called like 24S.
Kulap Vilaysack 10:53
I don’t know about 24S guys.
SuChin Pak 10:55
I can tell just by looking at the font size of a site what their return policy is, and I’m looking 24S, and I’m like honey that is a chaotic font. I want to know; I already know your return policy not going to.
Danielle Schneider 11:19
Like Baskerville or something it’s fucking wild, it’s a wild west.
Kulap Vilaysack 11:25
So I’m looking right now I had to.
SuChin Pak 11:30
You know when like you can’t quite read we need it needs to be you know nice and inviting.
Danielle Schneider 11:39
I will not be going there again like I would have paid money to not have had that experience.
Kulap Vilaysack 11:44
My god, what a novella I want to read every edition we don’t have time I realized this but we should just do like a returns episode like the most satisfying, most frustrating, because it just I mean that’s the thriller that I’m staying up late for.
Danielle Schneider 12:08
Who’s great at returns and I highly, Shopbop, Shopbop, God bless you Shopbop, hey are ready to go. Easy breezy, beautiful return. Yeah, I really like what they have going.
Kulap Vilaysack 12:26
Okay, shouting out Shopbop.
Danielle Schneider 12:35
I was so scared I was like I don’t want this person, so I just keep it.
SuChin Pak 12:38
Yeah, of course the thought just comes to you where you’re just like this is a $60 item, I’ve already spent $1 now but now I’m two and a half hours into this.
Kulap Vilaysack 12:49
Is it worth it? Do I have someone to give it to you, you’re doing all the math here.
Danielle Schneider 12:54
And I still looking for this like stick on I brough to give to somebody. Because I just couldn’t go through with that one it was like I can’t you know like one of those like I’m like who’s got who’s got these details?
SuChin Pak 13:09
Because it has to be someone you know very well.
Danielle Schneider 13:57
Yes, it has to be someone with the right cups.
Kulap Vilaysack 15:23
Danielle is tiny but has a larger friend. The cart you’ve brought to us, I think, did you already mentioned it already that it was coming to you?
Danielle Schneider 15:59
Well, I’ve ordered two products one thing is gone. The other and I was on the waiting list for it, know that I wait went on and then it was like new products will be released at 8AM Pacific time. Like on Thursday morning and I set an alarm.
SuChin Pak 16:19
Danielle Schneider 16:25
I’m a woman in her 40s, I’m a woman in her 40s and I have to say that I am obsessed with Hailey Bieber’s road lip gloss.
SuChin Pak 16:39
Hailey Bieber. You are on Danielle. She’s just on the cutting edge.
Kulap Vilaysack 16:47
This is the road peptide lip treatment. It’s a Nourishing Lip layer.
SuChin Pak 16:54
Lip she’s putting it on? Is it a lip balm?
Danielle Schneider 16:57
It’s a balm but it’s also a gloss guys and I have to say it does both beautifully. Now I am not one that used to follow Haley Bieber but our good friend Juliette Levy who is like one of the best friends of our other very good friend Jun Diane Raphael. We went away with her.
Kulap Vilaysack 17:14
When we went to Miami, Su.
Danielle Schneider 17:19
Oh yes. The infamous Miami trip and she is like head of PR for this company road and she’s like it’s really good. And so I was like I’m gonna try this and I got myself on a waiting list because you could not get the product and then when it was like 8AM, I set an alarm and then I got on the list and I have to tell you it’s a really good price point, $15, which I think for a lip gloss slash a balm is in this day and age a great price point. Okay. It’s also it really does a good job like it’s somewhere between like MAC’s lip glass which I used to love because it stayed on forever but you couldn’t have hair and […]
Kulap Vilaysack 18:08
Just pieces of food you ate two hours ago like stuck on your lip like it was more of like a trap.
SuChin Pak 18:15
Krazy glue for your lips.
Danielle Schneider 18:17
Now this like you still have a gloss like even an hour later and I find, I have not had like dried lips even in this California summer and it looks good. It feels good I got the one without taste or flavor because I don’t like you know like watermelon tasty or whatever.
Kulap Vilaysack 18:34
It’s the unscented version.
Danielle Schneider 18:36
I got unscented. It is fantastic, you guys wow. Not that she needs my help. But I’m telling you..
SuChin Pak 18:46
Danielle, you put an alarm on to get on a list not even to order the product, and then and then you just got an alarm on your phone and alert for what other products from Road?
Danielle Schneider 18:59
Okay, so once I knew that this was a thrill and a success I went for the glazing fluid for the face, now, I set my alarm but sadly wasn’t quick enough on the button. I didn’t get on the first list.
Kulap Vilaysack 19:11
This is heartbreaking.
SuChin Pak 19:12
Hailey Bieber is running such a racket.
Danielle Schneider 19:16
And also I’m now following on Instagram and obsessed with her. So she so did not get on it the first time, but then got lots of tat you know like things being like hey, I promise you it’s coming guys.
SuChin Pak 19:33
You’re actually dating her skincare line.
Danielle Schneider 19:38
I mean, I’m trying to.
Kulap Vilaysack 19:42
The skincare line is a bit of a fuck boy.
SuChin Pak 19:47
The road skincare line is the tinder of dating apps won’t commit to me, won’t commit. But like keeps teasing you. By the way telling you how beautiful you are. And when you see, I mean it’s unforgettable.
Danielle Schneider 20:05
Look at me. And so then then like two weeks later they’re like we’re starting another list. I’m like play, I gotta get on this. Set another alarm, I’m telling you if my finger wasn’t on it at 8AM exactly. Got it in my cart. Then fuckin got it. Got So then it said it’s arriving Friday I was like great I was away for the week it was in Santa Fe like what a wonderful gift to come home to this peptide glazing fluid, get home and it’s like sorry it’s not coming. I was expecting that and then it said to me yesterday it’s coming today. So then I had a weekend you have to wait. They’re not going to come on Saturday. Wait till Monday. I receive an alert. Yesterday. They can’t find my address with an exclamation point.
SuChin Pak 21:11
Like sorry, like, but you’re like, but I got it on my lips, honey.
Danielle Schneider 21:16
I don’t know what it was, like it was like.. and so I was like, do they not know where I live? Like sometimes it’s difficult to find, the lift treatment.
SuChin Pak 21:28
Breaking her down to build her up again.
Danielle Schneider 21:36
And I thought I was like do I call UPS, do I call Road, Hillary, well, I’ve never wanted to bother Juliet with this or like, because, you know, I’m like, I’m just a person. Like I don’t want any special treatment.
Kulap Vilaysack 21:54
Public relations and probably has nothing to do with like, I don’t know, the shipping.
Danielle Schneider 22:02
I don’t want to bother her with this. And so guys, I was really debating calling them after I got off this podcast. And then when do I get?
SuChin Pak 22:13
She’s back on the line.
Danielle Schneider 22:15
I was thinking of leaving this podcast to go down to my mailbox. Making you ladies wait.
SuChin Pak 22:23
I mean, wow, Danielle, we’re two friends just looking at our dear friend dating. Someone who’s not been very good to her. Look at her. She wants to leave this warm group chat of empowered strong women.
Kulap Vilaysack 22:42
Just to get crumbs, the crumbs that he paid for.
Danielle Schneider 22:47
I do it again and again, ladies.
SuChin Pak 22:50
Okay, I mean, I’m interested but I will wait until they’ve got their fulfillment and shipping because I can’t go through that kind of heartache at this day and age.
Danielle Schneider 23:01
It’s new company, I don’t know what’s going on. But I do know and honestly, if you wanted it right now SuChin you couldn’t have it.
SuChin Pak 23:11
This is why I eat dinner at hot restaurants at 3PM. I haven’t had brunch at a at a new bagel spot since you know 2002 because I wait till it’s dead. And then I come in and they say bring me your […]
Danielle Schneider 23:24
[…] Till this is like killed somebody. Yeah, this product has killed somebody.
Kulap Vilaysack 23:34
Interested in clearance and cap at Target.
SuChin Pak 23:40
Because you know she’s coming. She’s coming to an end cap somewhere. And then I’ll let you know five years from now whether Danielle’s dating experience is worth it the first time around. All right, love it.
Kulap Vilaysack 23:54
Danielle, you mentioned Shopbop earlier so let’s get into this. The great tea from Shopbop.
Danielle Schneider 23:59
Yes. Now guys, I love Shopbop I find them to be very easy. Their fashion editor this woman Caroline is I love her like she’s so cool. She dresses amazing. I follow her on Instagram, her personal account. And her name is Caroline McGuire. She’s like look her up. She’s fantastic. And I’m looking at so. So she’s their fashion editor. And so she picks really cool clothes. I always go into her section called Caroline’s closet. And I just I love their vibe, but I also think they’re so user friendly. And they have a lot of different price points. They have great sales, lots of different brands, high end and low end and one place I’ve discovered lately is the great, which I think is a popular brand, but I didn’t sort of know about them so much. And I’m a t shirt lover, like I wear T-shirts every day of my life, winter, spring, summer fall, and I’ll spend money on t-shirt because I wear the fuck out of it. You know what I mean? T-shirt and jeans I’ll spend some money on, because it’s got a lot. And so but I’m always looking for one that’s not too tight because like as Kulap, I have a bosom/
Kulap Vilaysack 25:21
Danielle Schneider 25:22
Wow, Kulap, thank you.
SuChin Pak 25:25
Well I can’t get past her lips.
Danielle Schneider 25:30
So I’ve been wanting a looser tee, but that’s still kind of like flatters me. And can you can do that sort of like French talk with you know, like kind of a little bit half in and but you know, in the front and out in the back and the great. Like crop tee is amazing. I get so many compliments on this t-shirt. It looks kind of worn and it feels soft. And I got it in a gray and then in a white like kind of a dark gray. And this is not it. This is an old Monroe tea and I like this tea. But this is a little tighter than I want it to be.
Kulap Vilaysack 26:08
Su, I think this would look really good on you. I gotta tell you.
SuChin Pak 26:11
I mean, the t shirt game is a new thing for me. T-shirts to me. I don’t know, I never quite know how to wear them. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like I have to dress it up a little bit or like put a cardigan. So, but I understand the effortless cheekiness of a t-shirt and jeans.
Danielle Schneider 26:35
This is I feel like a chic tee in the way that it’s cut. It’s cut a little differently. And it’s not cheap. It’s a higher price point. It’s like a $90 tee, and that’s a lot of money for a T shirt. I will say but when you are me and you wear it once a week, like it evens out. I’m not going to just spend […]
SuChin Pak 26:53
And what size are we talking for you?
Danielle Schneider 26:57
It’s a little big.
SuChin Pak 26:58
Yeah, so you’re gonna do a small or an extra small.
Danielle Schneider 27:00
I’m gonna do an extra small.
SuChin Pak 27:02
So even go one size lower. Yeah, the sizing on things like T shirts. That’s essential. And everybody’s different.
Kulap Vilaysack 27:14
I’m circling back the t-shirt that SuChin was talking about is from Buck Mason.
Danielle Schneider 27:22
Oh, I don’t know what but I’m writing it down.
Kulap Vilaysack 27:25
It’s sort of a slob kind of cotton t-shirt. It’s a buck Mason crew.
SuChin Pak 27:32
Such a good t-shirt. And it’s the oh, I’ve never been a t shirt gal until this t shirt came into my life.
Danielle Schneider 27:39
I am an expert at t shirt. Like I’m always looking I’ll go high. I’ll go low. It just has to like fit right.
SuChin Pak 27:48
That to the to me the difference between a $95 tee and a $7, is after the wash.
Danielle Schneider 27:57
Yeah, I have a t-shirt. That was great. And it was like Amazon brand t shirt like $20. I will say and I, you know, again, fit great, look great. Love it. But after first wash it literally left sweat stain on it. And I just can’t have that kind of..
Kulap Vilaysack 28:19
Because you respect yourself, ladies, come on.
Danielle Schneider 28:23
That would happen to me a lot with H&M stuff where I would it looks so great. And then you wash it once and it’s destroyed. So then I ended up just dry cleaning everything from H&M, which defeats the purpose because you’re spending so much fucking money dry cleaning. And you’re just like, why am I buying this? Why am I dry cleaning this $7 shirt?
SuChin Pak 28:44
When it touches water, it transforms into something else. You have a you have a fringed poncho, you know, and that’s not what you bought. So sometimes, especially with the basics and the stuff you buy more, I’m learning these things. This is why I have a podcast about this right? Learn from the experts. All right, we have one more right?
Kulap Vilaysack 30:02
One more product now Danielle, you’re a voracious reader. And I think you got me into the true crime writer who the Garden of Good and Evil.
Danielle Schneider 31:46
He wrote garden of the bees and he wrote Devil in the White City.
Kulap Vilaysack 31:50
Devil in the White City, those are the two books I’ve read on your recommendation. And so you’ve brought us another book. It’s called Killers of the Flower Moon
Danielle Schneider 32:04
It’s non-fiction. It’s incredible. It’s educational. It’s about the Osage Nation who were obviously treated terribly by White men and women, let’s be honest. And we’re moved around from you know, their native lands. And then when the white people in the government move them, they ended up moving what they thought was like this rocky, terrible land, because that’s how great White people are. And then it ended up being filled with oil. And so the Osage Nation got super rich, they were given these like dividends, right of like money from the oil, that they ended up getting all the relatives like all the people got rich, basically. And then the White man was really jealous and angry about how rich they were. And so they wouldn’t let them have access to their money. They had to have like, basically White men and bankers and lawyers be their sort of like, keepers basically, like, we’ll only give you this much money at this much time. And they would, of course, get a fee for that. But then members of the Osage Nation started like dying. And yes, and then it was this huge investigation into like, oh, they were being murdered, because they were being like, poisoned and shot like, all this crazy shit. And so that so much so that like, none of the relatives would get the money and then the White people in charge of the money, or they would marry into the Osage Nation, they would get the money for themselves. And this was the start of the FBI because J. Edgar Hoover, who was also a terrible human being, yeah, but basically, this was like a blight on him. And so before people were sort of rejecting some sort of national like, you know, like investigative force, and they had these investigators come in with the help of the Osage and even some Osage people were in, like, we’re in this troop of men who investigated and found out that these people were being killed, and they got all these businessmen and other people like arrested and it was kind of the formation of the FBI and this terrible time in America, which is never taught to me. I’ve never even heard of this. It’s fucking horrifying. But it’s also fascinating. It’s a great education, but it reads incredibly, like fat. Like, it’s a mystery. And it’s, oh, I just love this book so much in the terms that it reads like, like a really good like a thriller, but like fiction. Yeah, but it’s all real. It’s all too real. And it’s just like a time that they should teach about. It’s a story that should be taught in schools and they probably don’t, I wasn’t taught. But wow, it needs to be taught. I didn’t know about this, you know, and I think we all need to know our history, so we don’t repeat it. But anyway, it was an incredible read called killers of the flower Moon by David Graham. And it’s incredible and I love to read. I want to do it all day. I used to feel guilty about reading because I would be like, oh, I’m not living my life. I’m just reading but then I read this quote that says no readers book readers are like people that love to read can live many lives at the same time. And that I love that quote.
Kulap Vilaysack 35:28
Su, can you share what you did on your birthday? The best part of it?
SuChin Pak 35:32
I had a birthday and all I wanted to do was spend it as much of it in a bookstore. I live in Santa Barbara. And they have Chaucer’s, Have you been to Chaucer’s?
Danielle Schneider 35:47
They have Chaucer’s in New York, I think?
SuChin Pak 35:48
Oh, do they? I didn’t know if it was a chain. But, it is the type of bookstore that looks like Meg Ryan is behind the counter. There’s a cat you know, do you mean there’s Yeah, is there you know, there was a huge staff they have a wide variety, there’s staff picks I love a staff section.
Danielle Schneider 36:11
I take them all.
SuChin Pak 36:13
I took them off in the staff picks they had a women in transition. What kind of a category is that? Picked a book crew there, great one, and I myself picked up a mystery novel but a little bit different. Do you know what, there’s a part of me like an old lady that sits in my heart that loves a Miss Marple.
Danielle Schneider 36:38
I’m watching like a basically an old British like murder show on Amazon right now. I don’t want gory things so it’s like sudden the 1800s in India and it’s a little bit of a Miss Marple mystery. I like that ends on someone’s face and they’re like, oh..
SuChin Pak 37:01
The book that you’re recommending is one I will read during the day and I will be like binging it but at night I want something a little lighter sweet. After I read yours, I’m now on the internet. Wondering where these people are and then starting a letter campaign and it’s 3AM like I can’t get my brain started.
Kulap Vilaysack 37:25
Meanwhile, for June Diane Raphael to go to sleep she listens to Dateline.
Danielle Schneider 37:30
I love that. I listen to that at night. It’s terrifying.
Kulap Vilaysack 37:35
It is in her ears and she goes to sleep.
SuChin Pak 37:39
Says so much, not surprised.
Danielle Schneider 37:41
I understand it because that guy Keith Morrison is like it was is done the night was as dark as a California Cabernet.
SuChin Pak 37:51
That podcast, I listened to that pie put that podcast on long drives when I know I cannot fall asleep. But his voice on that podcast. Sometimes I have to pause and be like really? Is this really? Do we need to have this voice thick.
Danielle Schneider 38:07
A smile as wide as an open three car garage.
SuChin Pak 38:13
And the writing. Yes, there’s a part of him like..
Kulap Vilaysack 38:17
He seems like a character but the character is the man.
Danielle Schneider 38:23
But I love it too. But uh, yeah, I cannot listen to that as I’m falling asleep.
SuChin Pak 38:27
Danielle, I mean, I want to live in your cart. I can’t wait to have you back on again.
Kulap Vilaysack 38:37
Such a ride.
Danielle Schneider 38:38
Thank you guys.
SuChin Pak 38:39
I mean, Hailey, you know?
Kulap Vilaysack 38:42
from Hailey to murder, the Danielle Schneider cart.
Danielle Schneider 38:47
Thank you guys for having me. It’s truly an honor and Coolock is a person that I’ve always asking her what’s her card? I feel like for at least 10 years now, Kulap, I’ve been like what are you doing to your skin give me a list like I’ve constantly cool up as one of those people to me that I’m always like, what’s going on with this, give me all the tools.
SuChin Pak 39:08
And it’s ever changing you know like, she’s an artist, you know her palate, is she has many to choose from.
Kulap Vilaysack 39:15
I too, take again things you know from you all, from SuChin and from Danielle. One thing I won’t take from Danielle though is, when we were at the aforementioned trip for Miami. Now Claire and Susan have already made fun of me for my granny like pill situation. And Danielle looked at like oh interesting. And Danielle may be my extreme opposite. Where she’s like, this is how I do my pills and what do you have Danielle?
Danielle Schneider 39:46
I had an old like baggy, like a plastic baggie that had been used on many trips filled with like out like Alka Seltzer dust, is open pills like my Lexapro next to my vitamins next to my Advil and next to.
SuChin Pak 40:12
I’m looking for my baggy look.
Danielle Schneider 40:14
That’s what it looks like it’s just like dusty. There’s an orange pill in here there’s half of a half of a pink pill. What’s that one? I know everything tastes like when I’m on a trip. There’s my Lexapro. Tastes like you know, Tom’s, just like whatever.
Kulap Vilaysack 40:35
And it really gets to people speaking different languages. But I was like, Danielle will, but how do you know? what is what?
SuChin Pak 40:47
If you don’t keep it interesting, then, you know, just go.
Danielle Schneider 40:51
Take the right thing today. If not, well, that’s on you.
Kulap Vilaysack 40:55
And I really will I will let you go eventually. But it is making me think of how I shared with Casey and Danielle. These supplements I take for like fish oil, basically. And sometimes the official pills they’re overpowering. So I found one that isn’t so fishy, basically. And I sent it to them and both of them. Were like, okay, they want me to take four I’ll take one.
Danielle Schneider 41:27
It was like four, twice a day, Kulap.
SuChin Pak 41:30
That’s why she needs her coffee book of pills. I mean, she busts that thing out and I’ve never seen.
Danielle Schneider 41:48
I was like oh, but at the same time though it is fish oil so just to get out the least amount of fish.
Danielle Schneider 42:09
Can’t you Jerry Seinfeld’s wife it and like hide it and like some chocolate or bake it into a pizza. Yeah, something.
Kulap Vilaysack 42:21
Oh, Danielle, Danielle. I actually I really don’t want you to leave your soul such. But she wants to leave us.
SuChin Pak 42:30
She’s like, wrap it up, bitches. I gotta go.
Danielle Schneider 42:35
I gotta go. Slather this shit on my face.
Kulap Vilaysack 42:38
Danielle, where do we find you on the internet? How do we get to your social media?
Danielle Schneider 42:41
You can find me on Instagram. I never go on Twitter because it’s a minefield, and it makes me feel terrible. So I go on Instagram, which is at @Daniellestuff I believe. I don’t even know.
SuChin Pak 42:56
She’s looking it up right now. Please hold, please hold everyone, because we want to follow, what is it?
Danielle Schneider 43:04
Oh, no, it’s, @DaneilleCarolineSchneider. Or you can listen to Bit Sesh.
Kulap Vilaysack 43:17
I can’t tell you so how many people are like, are you Kulap from Bit Sesh, everybody loves and listens to your podcast.
SuChin Pak 43:27

Danielle Schneider 43:28

SuChin Pak 43:31
