It’s nice, it’s clean. It looks good to step up from a banana republic and a J Crew, right? And you can go based on your person, your man. You can go into different areas. Like, here’s the thing, this past year, I was touring around in with How Did This Get Made? And we got an invitation to go to the White House. We weren’t going to meet President Biden, but we’ve got an invitation to go and take a tour, which was truly an amazing thing. But we didn’t have clothes for that tour. Went to Buck Mason, got myself an outfit. Look at he split. Look damn good and.

I do, and they are very big pieces that I love. And what I really would love to say is that they make a very simple shirt, and they make some great pants. So again, sometimes I talk to a lot of women who are like, I need to get my man some clothes because he does not a dress. And I want to put a staple in there too. Buck Mason is an elevated staple. And, and you look at it and you’re like, it’s jeans, it’s shirts, it’s T shirts, it’s, but it’s not trying too hard, but yet it’s elevated. And that’s, and I really, I thought it was important this year. And look, there’s women’s fashion and Buck Mason too. I, you know, I can’t speak that.

It’s cheap enough to be like, Yeah, time to buy another pack of white T. Like, and it is truly the I love the fit of it. It looks great. I’ve worn it on television. No one note, it’s a great looking white tea, a Costco or Kirkland brand. You can get them on Amazon. This is Kirkland white Ts will not let you down. And like unlike Buck Mason, who I have, I just bought a blue tea from them the other day. I love their blue T. I love the I love everything about it. But white Ts, we’re sweating. Things are happening. You gotta move it through. So I have a whole you get practical. I have a whole drawer just a white tees, Kirkland brand white Ts.

Okay, I’m a New Yorker, so it definitely speaks to me in a way that is very specific. They do collaborations with very New York things like the MTA or like the New York Parks and Rec world. So you have these really cool looking things, and it changes all the time, right now, they have a marathon collection, right? So it’s all things that are New York City Marathon based, but they are based in like, the 80s logos and the typeface. So it is a throw back to old school stuff, like, I have a on my desk, a New York trash can that you would see in Central Park to hold my pens. I have an MTA light that you they bought this MTA light that is like that you see at the top of the subway platforms, like very specific New York stuff. That is great. But the MTA collection, I wear a jacket. It’s like a transit authority jacket that I got here, I get more compliments on this jacket. Where, everywhere I go, people like Will. Where’d you get this? Because it looks like something I got from a vintage store. Their MTA collection is worth it 100% so if you’re a New Yorker, or if you like New York it’s like, getting, like, merch from New York.

It regulates my system and as a parent, as a person living in this world, as a person going from paycheck to paycheck, we need to regulate our systems, and it helps.

If you know someone in your life likes a bag like this, this might be like, like, I think we all love Tom Bhin we get it. Why Tom bin is great. It might be a harder sell. I’m giving this gift to all of you out there who are on this train and want a good bag. But the gift bag that I want to talk about is the savage industry. Yes. Okay, yes, yes, yes. Okay, so Adam Savage, you remember Myth Busters. He has created his own line of things, bed rolls. He’s got like boxes that you can hold, like little gizmos and gadgets and but he has these things called bucket bags. Bucket bags are truly, they’re like, like a handyman bag, but they are the perfect. Right, like I would imagine, they are in the middle of a purse and a backpack. They’re not a backpack. They’re, you know, they are a handled bag you can pack in it. You can also just carry your wares in them when you’re going around. I love this I love this bag. This bag has made such a big difference in my life. And he has these canvas like, these little insert bags, kind of like Sue’s wallet there. I love the material. These are just the I believe the one that he has out right now is, like the EDC four. Now here’s the thing I want to tell you, it’s white. I showed it to June, and she’s like, I want it so that just goes to show you this idea. Like, you think, Oh, this is a Paul techie, like, bullshit like this, not for the ladies and tell you it’s real nice.

How are you using it? Paul, like, how does this fold into your life?

I don’t often use a backpack around. La, I’m not going full because backpack, to me, sometimes is tricky. Like, I use it like a modern person’s briefcase. That’s kind of I use it. And I will say that when I’ve been on tour, I use it a lot on tour, like, when I’m popping around and doing like, you could do it as an overnight bag. It will be a little over stuff. But again, depending on how you pack, it could be a great gym bag. It’s an all purpose type of bag. You know, think of it without.

So they allow you to finance some of their bigger ideas. So I helped back a Ghostbuster pro Tom pack and Ghost Trap, and then, and then we made our we made it, and now it’s like, it’s sort of, it’s sort of like a they Hasbro pulse. Does this kind of, how do you say, like, Kickstarter, but, but they own all the rights to things. So, yeah, so and so. I have now a real deal pro Tom pack that I helped kickstart, but they kind of have all these.

And right now, they’re also looking for backers for the new Ghostbusters Plasma series, ectomobile, where, you know, it’s just a toy ectomobile. So you can go, you can jump in on that. If you want doing that. Are you gonna do? I was going to and I was like, You know what? I really don’t have places for any of these things. My want is sure, but I like money better spent in other spots. So, so yes, yes, my want is there. I will not do it. And I think.

They’re only $19 each, but they are little garden gnomes that will stand in your garden. And they are the best. They look amazing. And I’m a big fan of wrapper garden gnomes. These are a really solid, a solid find of my favorite finds of this year.

We’re moving on to games. Which Paul, I have to say, you have introduced so many games into my life that I’ve loved, that I’ve gifted. Got a shout out to Dutch Blitz. I believe that was you.

That it probably was, or my wife. I mean, we are. I’m sure I gave it to you last year and and this year I was wrestling like, what do I give you that I haven’t given you? Because board games aren’t like, coming out in like, a degree where it’s like, oh, you know, some like, oh, certain ones stick around. They stand the test of time, like something like code names and stuff like that. But I will tell you this wavelength game is super fun, and if I recommend it before, just listen to me again and say this. It’s basically like a you’re trying to communicate something to your team. I’m trying to figure out how to even describe. It’s like a party game. You don’t have to be smart, you just have to be kind of reading the clues. It’s like, kind of like a Scattergories type of game, where you’re You’re everyone’s trying to help out like or like, a what’s like, a Win, lose or draw, like, you know, it’s like, yeah, you’re working together to kind of guess something. But you don’t have to be smart. It takes two seconds to learn how to play.

Yeah, so it works in groups from two to 12 plus people. They taste great for large parties, off sites, family gatherings, anywhere you need instant fun, five seconds to set up, one minute to learn, 30 minutes to play. Wire cutter said it’s the best board game, one of the best board games.

It’s really just fun. It’s like a mind reading game, right? No one will get upset. Because I find that sometimes when you bring a party game in, I’m upset you didn’t get this thing right. This it’s all there’s no right or wrong, and I think that’s an important thing to bring to a party game.

There’s a million versions of this was the one that’s like 100 bucks if you, if you have someone in your life as an Xbox this is the, the new hot game that is gonna be coming out. It is Indiana Jones. People are saying it’s one of the best games already. The buzz on it is really hot. But it’s like, basically, it’s an Indiana Jones Adventure. I think it plays a little bit like Tomb Raider and and that game, Wolfenstein like that. Like, it’s a very every I’ve seen the play through. It looks great again. June hates it. Okay? My kids love it. The premise is so simple and fun. It’s like the show that we’d all want to be doing so but basically, what it is is you have a task master, right? And he is giving a group of comedians, four comedians, five comedians, a series of challenges that they have to complete. So it could be as simple as melt this giant block of ice without creating a puddle, right? Or get rid of this giant block of ice in less than an hour. So you have five or six comedians that are trying to figure out how to creatively solve this problem by themselves, and then they intersperse how each person does it, and then at the end of each challenge, they are graded on it, and then through the course of the season, they get points. Now may Martin has been on it, James a caster. Many of your favorite British comedians have been on it, but it’s super fun. It is like a reality show with a comedy bent. One challenge which is so funny, is they blindfolded people, and they made them walk into a room of stacked cans and and they couldn’t knock down anything. But then you see people walking, they don’t know what’s around, and they hit a can, and then the can starts to fall, and then they move to try to catch the can, and then they knock down more cans. So it’s like, whoever knocks down the least amount of cans, it’s like, it’s not, it’s, iyou know, they have to make a snuggle machine. There’s all over the place.

There are trees in our house that have theming, but I also like a fun tree that has a bunch of different pop culture things. Every year, I take a look at what hallmark is offering in the ornament department, and here’s what I’m gonna tell you, I always get them. I always get at least one every year from I try to only buy one or two ornaments a year because, you know, they build up quick. And I am holding this one I’m focusing on this year is the friends 30th anniversary ornament with light and sound. It is the friends fountain with the couch. It plays the song. Yes, and it’s just that, it’s just the fountain. I mean, I also like how weird it is. It’s just the the empty couch and the fountain that plays the song. And it’s large. It’s quite large. Yeah, not the cast. And, you know, look, they got, they got a the friends TV said they got the Central Park couch, whatever it is. I love this. An ornament is a great again, stocking stuffer, but it also is a great place for you to look around again. What do you like? You like Star Wars, you like Charlie Brown. You like The Simpsons. You like, you know, national inputs. Christmas vacation. They got it. Xbox, they got it. Look in there. It’s a pop culture ornament thing. Again, I don’t know what to get you. Put this on your tree.
